Maranatha's purpose is to foster and develop gospel clarity, biblical depth, and a noticeable Christian community in the local areas God has placed us. The biblical word Maranatha, means "Come, Lord." We chose this to be our name because it continually centers our attention on our returning King Jesus while we pursue the coming of his kingdom here on earth. MARANATHA SOUTHSIDE VISIT US GIVE We are currently in the preparation phase of church planting and are prayerfully working toward a public launch on March 15. During this season, we are gathering a core team, establishing rhythms of worship and discipleship, seeking to fundraise for the full church budget, as well as laying a faithful foundation so that when we launch, our church will be rooted in Scripture, centered on the gospel, and committed to the mission of God in our community. Justin and his wife Jenna share a deep love for the gospel and a burden to see Jesus Christ proclaimed clearly and faithfully. Their desire is not only to reach the outskirts of the city, but to bring the hope of the gospel to this particular area—one they believe is in great need of a church rooted in Scripture, centered on Christ, and committed to making disciples. Justin is passionate about preaching the whole counsel of God, shepherding people with care, and helping the local church live on mission for the glory of God. Together, he and his wife are prayerfully committed to seeing a healthy, gospel-shaped church established that loves its neighbors and serves its community with faithfulness and humility. MARANATHA BALTIMORE VISIT US GIVE We are a church seeking to love, serve, and share the whole gospel of Jesus Christ with people in Baltimore and the surrounding areas. We strive to introduce the gospel to those who have never heard it and build on the foundation that has been given to those who already have salvation in Christ. Riley and Ari. They have been faithfully involved at Maranatha since July 2024 and have been affirmed by the Elders to plant a third Maranatha congregation. This congregation has now launched in Baltimore, OH, the very place Dan and Keela have been praying about for many years. The Lord has provided an opportunity to merge with another congregation in Baltimore, and they began gathering together on January 11th, 2026. In the coming years, they are excited to build a thriving church community and continue raising up leaders to serve in the city of Baltimore and the surrounding communities.
